GOVERNMENT REBATE INFORMATION

The government rebates for solar hot water include:

RECS (Renewable Energy Certificates) 

RECs are a Federal Government initiative under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000 and is used to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the Government’s Mandatory Renewable Energy Target (MRET) scheme.

Federal Government Rebate

The Australian Government is offering rebates of $1000 in eligible circumstances for households to install solar and heat pump hot water systems.
